Originally from Watauga, veterinary technician Kelly Ray joined the Northwest Animal Hospital Staff in 2006. Kelly previously worked as a technician at the Animal Emergency Hospital of North Texas. She attended Tarleton State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 2005.

Kelly loves working with the caring and compassionate veterinarians at the hospital. At home, her family includes three dogs, Tanner, Colby and Baxter. She also enjoys horseback riding, reading, cooking and watching movies.

Veterinary technician Sherri Hancock has worked in the animal-care field for almost 10 years. She is proud of the high quality care the doctors and staff at the hospital provide.

At home, Sherri can be found spending time with her four dogs, Andre, Lance, Harley, Coleman and her cat, Owen. Lance was recently named "pet of the year" at Whitley Road Elementary School, and many of her dogs have graduated dog obedience school. Sherri also enjoys bicycling, gardening, swimming and spending time with her family.

A recent addition to our part-time technician staff, Sara McGehee has over 19 years of experience in the veterinary field. She enjoys working at Northwest because of the extraordinary team and excellent care.

She cares for four dogs, Dixie, Dakota, Sassy, and Honey Bear, and three cats, Tiger, Kia and Kiara. In her spare time, Sara enjoys bicycling, swimming, hiking, tennis, and spending time with her husband, Hoss, and daughter, Taylor.

Linda Sue Sacks has been caring for pets at Northwest Animal Hospital since 1998. Linda loves working with animals and enjoys the learning experiences that come with working at the hospital. At home, she cares for two dogs, Katie Jo and Toby Hunter, and two cats, Casey James and Cassidy Lynn. Linda enjoys spending time with her husband, Bruce, cruising in their convertible, and spending time with her granddaughter. Acting, bowling, cooking and watching sports are among her many hobbies.

Our veterinary technician manager, Colleen Worrell attended St. Bonaventure University, where she played Division-1 soccer. She received her bachelor's degree in Philosphy and Pre-law with a minor in Accounting, and a master's degree in Theology. She has been part of the Northwest staff since 2005.

At home, Colleen cares for two cats, Leopold and Pitkin, and two dogs, Brutus and Nietzsche. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies and playing soccer.

A Grapevine resident for 26 years, receptionist Yovi Sparks has been part of the Northwest staff since 1996. She feels she works for the very best staff around! She loves helping the "babies" and their parents.

At home, Yovi's family includes Scout, an Australian Shepherd, and Missy, a cat. She adopted both pets from the hospital. Yovi also is the hospital's resident "fashion diva." She loves working on her home, redecorating and remodeling.

Originally from London, Sarah Wateska joined the Northwest staff as a receptionist in 2005. A former international swimmer, Sarah is a co-founder of Kool Kats Feline Rescue. Sarah loves working with animals and is proud to be part of the Northwest staff. At home, she cares for six cats: Ozzie, Quincy, Chloe, Smokey, Herbie, Wheezy and Wilson. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Richard, and their son, Taylor.

Jill Smith joined our team in September 2009. Her hobbies include working out, cooking, baking, boating, playing board games and loves spening time with her family. She has three children and three dogs: Suzie, a Golden; Jasmine, a Golden/Lab mix; and Snickers, a Pekinese mix she recently adopted from Canine Soulmates.

Emily Newgren joined Northwest in April of 2009. She loves caring for animals and is the proud owner of an 11-month-old dalmatian mix named Luna. Her hobbies include movies, hiking, boating, snowboarding and hanging out with her family.

A Phoenix, AZ native, kennel manager Bruce Farrell joined the Northwest staff in 2000. Bruce has worked in the animal-care field for eight years and loves working with the pets and clients that come into the hospital, as well as working with the caring staff and veterinarians.

Kennel Assitant Lacey Hatfield joined the Northwest kennel staff in April of 2007. She enjoys working with her co-workers and interacting with clients, and of course, the animals! She spends her free time collecting dolls, reading fantasy, sci-fi, classics and historical novels, watching movies, going out to eat, sewing and knitting.

A member of the Northwest kennel staff since 2007, Ellie Kiesewetter loves the opportunity to work with animals and says she's always learning new things. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her two dogs: a 6-year-old Pomoranian and a 6-year-old Maltese. She also enjoys gardening and playing volleyball.
